Our limited-edition Mawj Lounger is a hand-sculpted masterpiece inspired by the motion of a wave — designed to follow the body’s natural shape while embodying contemporary elegance.

The piece is the result of a collaboration between RattanHun’s Dima Stephan and master artisan Maher Barbour. Together, they combined design vision with traditional craftsmanship, using age-old techniques of fire-bending and handweaving natural rattan poles. Each curve is achieved through careful heating and shaping, perfected with a precise selection of canes.

Mawj represents the meeting point of tradition and innovation: a sculptural form that celebrates both comfort and artistry.

First unveiled at Dubai Design Week with Editions Arts and Urbanist Art Gallery, the lounger was showcased at the Dubai Design District (d3), Waterfront Terrace, Booth E36, from November 6 to 9.
